Fourth from my trip to New Zealand, I photographed the house of award-winning architect Fritz Eisenhofer.

Situated on the west coast at Peka Peka, it’s based around a large open-plan central dome, mainly buried among the sand dunes, except for where its huge honeycomb windows break the surface. Inside the atmosphere is naturally maintained at a tropical temperature, and extensive water features run throughout.

Third up from my trip to New Zealand, I photographed the home of fashion designer Deborah Sweeney. She lives just outside Wellington in this beautifully renovated 1940s cottage with her partner Niels and their baby Lars.

This is the second of the houses I photographed in New Zealand last month. Built on the cliffs of the Otaki Gorge north of Wellington, the house is wonderfully in tune with its lush green surroundings. The modern interior is perfectly complemented by a tasteful collection of designer pieces and personal touches.
